Harley Lippman is the CEO and Founder of Genesis10, an IT consulting and staffing company since 1999. In 2018 and 2019, USA Today reported Harley Lippman as among the top 50 CEOs to work for. In 2019, Genesis10 was named a top U.S. Staffing Firm by Staffing Industry Analysts, and earned recognition as one of the top 25 U.S. companies for work/life balance as well as Best Leadership Team.  In 2023 Genesis 10 was identified as one of the best places to work in New York as reported by Business Insider.

Genesis10 is committed to fostering talent with its junior training programs and in 2018 launched Dev10 that is a talent creation program teaching young people without computer science degrees coding to become software developers. Dev10 has launched the careers of more than 1,500 Dev10 associates.

Harley’s innovative approach to business had already been identified in 2002 when Ernst & Young awarded him as Entrepreneur of the Year.

Harley’s commitment to empowerment through education has led him to sole financial supporter of a Cambodian orphanage for over 16 years. In 2018, Harley built the Children First Center located near Phnom Penh. In Harley’s school, underprivileged children receive education and are mentored until they graduate college. Harley has put 30 children through college. Harley also sponsors an English language center in Siem Reap that offers greater prospects for the children to advance educationally.

Harley serves in the board of Advisors of Yale University’s School of Management. Harley is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at Columbia University’s Graduate School of International and Public Affairs. Harley also serves in the boards of foreign policy thinktanks including the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the Council member of the Brookings Institution.

Harley was appointed by President George W Bush to serve as a member of the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad and has been reappointed by every president since. In this role, Harley personally spearheaded efforts that uncovered over 20 mass graves across Poland of Jews massacred by Germans from September 1939 and March 1942, two years prior to the Holocaust. Harley was personally responsible for erecting 20 memorials in Polish, English and Hebrew in which both Rabbis and Priests officiated at the memorial service and school children adopted gravesites to maintain. This led Harley to be an executive-producer on an award-winning documentary that appeared on PBS entitled ‘Safeguarding Memory: Commemorating Jewish Mass Graves in Poland’, on mass graves in Poland.

Harley’s tremendous efforts in this field led Poland’s Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2023 to award Harley with the medal called Medal Opoekin Miejsc Pamieci Narodowej – “Guardian of National Memorial Sites.”

In 2022, Harley was also appointment by President Biden to serve on the USAID Partnership for Peace Fund whose charter is to build economic, social, political connections between Israelis and Palestinians. This can serve as a foundation for joint economic ventures, fostering tolerance, and ultimately coexistence.

By focusing on bottom-line results rather than the process itself, Harley’s business approach has parallels to him creating value for policymakers. To this end, Harley has been recognized by Forbes as “a great example of ‘soft power’ in Washington. He is one of the few people who maintain a good relationship with both sides of the aisle and has a reputation for being highly effective.” Forbes further commented that Harley’s collegiate approach to leadership in business applies to his involvement in policy.

This has led Harley to meet with world leaders that include President Biden, Turkey President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Egypt President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to discuss issues of U.S. Foreign policy; Israel; and ways to build better, more peaceful relationships amongst Middle Eastern nations.

Harley is recognised as a thought leader in international affairs offering commentary on breaking news to international outlets including: Dutch, Swiss and Chinese, Saudi TV, Fox, CNBC.
